BARISTA TRAINING

1:1 BARISTA TRAINING

SCHOOL HOLIDAY PROGRAMS

SCHOOL HOLIDAY PROGRAMS

A barista preparing coffee with an espresso machine in a cafe.

90min Session

$120 for one attendee / $150 for two attendees ($75 per head)

Ages 12 and above.

Participants learn the fundamentals of operating a commercial espresso machine and grinder, including adjusting grind settings, dosing and tamping correctly, and extracting quality espresso shots. Once confident with espresso-based coffees such as Long Blacks, training progresses into milk texturing and latte art, with a focus on achieving smooth microfoam, correct milk temperature, and pouring patterns such as love hearts and ferns across Flat Whites, Lattes and Cappuccinos.

Training takes place within the live café environment at Meeting Place MV, providing hands-on experience in real service situations. Depending on each participant’s comfort and confidence levels, attendees may also assist with customer service, operating the till, delivering coffees and working as part of the café team.

A Certificate of Achievement is provided.
