At the Meeting Place Café, good food and good coffee are only part of the story. Our café is a welcoming community space where people can relax, connect and feel at home, while also creating meaningful opportunities for young people and adults with disabilities to build skills, confidence, and independence.
Through hands-on experience in a real café environment, participants develop practical hospitality skills, teamwork, routine, and confidence alongside our supportive team.
Every coffee, meal, or visit helps support a more inclusive and connected community, where people are encouraged to learn, grow, and genuinely belong.
COFFEE
We proudly serve Patio Coffee, chosen for its smooth flavour, quality and consistency. Whether you prefer a classic latte, long black or iced coffee, our team is passionate about creating a great coffee experience in a relaxed and welcoming space.
FOOD & DRINKS
At the Meeting Place, we focus on simple, nourishing food and quality coffee in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Our menu includes café favourites such as toasties, sweet treats, smoothies and ready-made take-home meals, with options available for a range of dietary needs. Many of our meals are prepared through our café skills program, creating opportunities for participants to gain hands-on experience in food preparation, kitchen routines and hospitality service.
Whether you’re stopping in for a quick coffee, meeting friends for lunch or grabbing a take-home meal for a busy day, our café is designed to feel warm, practical and community-focused.
SPACE
Our Café integrates seamlessly into the co-working space, with tables able to be converted to hot desk cubicles via removable partitions.
A polished concrete floor, plenty of natural light, plants and timber make the space easy on the eye and the senses, and a low density of chairs and tables ensures that our patrons enjoy privacy and calm while with us.
CATERING
We offer fresh and convenient catering platters for meetings, workshops, community gatherings, and special events. Perfect for morning teas, shared grazing tables, and light refreshments, our catering is designed to make hosting easy and welcoming.
